“Sometimes the honeymoon takes place before the marriage and sometimes even after a month for the marriage it doesn’lt take place..like it was in our case. Especially in our community the rider has to wait for the first 1000kms..some riders however are reluctant to follow the protocol and almost force it on us. However Kiran waited patiently. We had done a few trips upto Mulshi and we were almost close to it.. but still didn’t experience the real thing.
This weekend trip was perfect. The timing couldn’t have been better. The monsoons had started a week back and the weather was awesome. My lubricant (Oil cooled technology) eased it further for us. We went through slippery roads, valleys, ghats and even touched 140 kmph..
As they say.. ‘the first one is always the special’..and this 350km trip to Nagoan via Kashid will always be special for me.”
